Chucs Dive & Mountain Shop is delighted to announce the launch of a limited edition t-shirt which the leisure wear brand has collaborated on with renowned contemporary artist Tracey Emin. Tracey has designed an exclusive mermaid illustration for 100 Chucs t-shirts, 19 of which the artist has signed. 100% of all profits from the t-shirts will be going to charity: water. Chucs will be selling these t-shirts online and in the Dover St store with some also being put aside for sale on 8^th September to coincide with Vogue Fashion’s Night Out.

charity: water is a non-profit organisation bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. There are a billion people on the planet who do not have access to clean water, that's one in eight people. To date charity: water has funded 3962 water projects serving 1,794,983 people across the world having an impact on reducing water-related deaths and transforming communities and generations. 100% of public donations directly fund water projects.

Monday 4th July saw Chucs Dive & Mountain Shop and a host of special guests dip in The Serpentine Lido in aid of charity: water. There was live entertainment on the night from Roots Reggae artist Vincent Nap, magician Drummond Money-Coutts, a Punch & Judy show and a team of synchronised swimmers.  Owner and founder of Chucs, Charles Finch, followed suit for a swim in the Lido to kick off the freestyle relay race (whistle blown by Mariella Frostrup). There was also a 100m timed sprint where the fastest lap won an IWC Aquatimer. Mariella Frostrup later led the prize giving to present the watch to Max Lowry. Other swimmers who took part included current Menswear Designer of the year Patrick Grant along with Alan Yentob, India Hicks and David Flintwood.

Guests celebrated Independence Day in London with Veuve Cliquot champagne, Havana Club rum punch and Belvedere Vodka cocktails; they dined on hot dogs, hamburgers, Primrose Hill Bakery cupcakes and candy floss. The limited edition Chucs t-shirt designed by renowned contemporary artist Tracey Emin went down a storm on the night with 100% of all profits going to charity: water. Sisley Skincare also had a stand for those who were interested in buying suncare, again with all profits going to charity: water.

CHUCS Dive and Mountain Shop is pleased to announce our support of Heather Geluk (pictured)who is taking the Northern Route - otherwise known as the "Finch Route", out of Tibet, originally climbed by George Ingle-Finch on the 1922 British Mount Everest Expedition.  Charles’ grandfather, George Ingle Finch (pictured below) invented the puffa or down-filled jacket before ascending Everest with Mallory in 1922. This historic climb is cemented in the record books as it was the first mountaineering expedition to breach the 8000 metre barrier. George was known for his sartorial style as much as climbing flair, his famous puffa jacket has become as much an essential item on the high street as atop Everest.

Chucs Dive & Mountain Shop is delighted to announce its store launch at the internationally acclaimed shopping destination, and world famous luxury department store, Harrods, Knightsbridge. The opening of the Chucs store at Harrods this March coincides nicely with the newly opened Ski & Swim department where Chucs offers a good cross-section of pieces from the men’s and women’s debut collections. Signature swimwear for men and women alike including the exclusive print design by Giles Deacon can be seen, as well as bermuda and hiking shorts, shirts and safari jackets. This is the second Chucs Dive & Mountain Shop destination further to the stand alone shop which opened at 31 Dover Street, Mayfair last month.
